Rehab Lab - Electrical Systems & HVAC Systems - May 30-31, 2012
The 2012 installment of our popular Rehab Lab series will be led by Gerard Diaz from Community Revitalization Training Center with David Diehl and Robert Schutz.
Rehab Lab - Electrical Systems in Housing Rehabilitation on May 30 will discuss circuits, wiring methods, fuses, common hazards and code requirements.
Rehab Lab - HVAC Systems in Housing Rehabilitation on May 31 will feature topics such as code requirements duct efficiency, sizing issues, improvements, inspections and improvements.
Time: 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.).

Fee: FREE to Ohio CDC Association members and CHDOs. $50 per day for non-members. Participants may attend one or both days.

Intermediate Community Economic Development (ICED) June 20-21, 2012
Brian Higgins and Mark Barbash will expand upon the basics of community economic development and discuss investment strategies, working with the private sector, structuring a deal and more. Collaborations and Partnerships - July 26, 2012
Brian Higgins and Mark Barbash will discuss concepts and strategies of collaboration, then take a tour of local area showcasing partnerships with Nationwide Children's Hospital.

Rental Conversion for Nonprofit Housing Developers - September 12-13, 2012
Wendy Smith, from Capital Access, will deliver a training for non-profit housing developers who are considering converting their existing homeownership projects to rental properties. The workshop will discuss whether conversion is the right option for your organization as well as present a roadmap of the homeownership to conversion process.
