Executive Director
St. Clair Superior Development Corporation, Cleveland

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR At St. Clair Superior Development Corporation (SCSDC), we build communities on the east side of Cleveland where people choose to be informed, engaged and empowered. We are currently seeking a results-oriented Executive Director to advance the activities of a performance driven community economic organization positioned for national recognition.

The Executive Director will lead residential growth, business development, and community-based programs within the neighborhood; further the strategic plans of the organization; identify and obtain new sources of funding; manage and enhance fiscal operations; maximize staff performance; build organizational capacity for community involvement in project advocacy; create confidence in the neighborhood marketplace; and develop community leadership.

The successful candidate will have the proven ability to successfully manage a for-profit or non-profit organization or substantial projects, solid community and real estate development experience, and strong financial management and budgeting skills. Excellent leadership skills, fundraising capabilities, and a demonstrated passion for community building are also critical to your success in this role. A Master’s degree in urban planning, public administration, business or law is preferred.
