The first website, listed below, is from the Ohio State Attorney General's office, and provides nonprofits with a list of common publications relative to charitable law including information on fund-raising.

About the Trainers

David Maywhoor is a private consultant specializing in Organizational Assessment and Development, Strategic Planning and Board governance training and capacity building. Mr. Maywhoor has served as the Executive Director of several organizations including the Auglaize-Mercer Community Action Commission, the Ohio Associaiton of Nonprofit Organizations (OANO), and the Second Harvest Foodbanks in Columbus, Ohio. He served as the Chief Operating Officer for the Center for Nonprofit Resources in Dayton, Ohio. He has worked on a consulting basis with a variety of nonprofit clients throughout Ohio, including COAD, COHHIO, the Interfaith Refugee Services of Ohio, several Community Action Agencies, and several urban United Way organizations.

Laura Junglas is a private consultant specializing in Asset Management training providing services in the areas of interim management, training, organizational development and community revitalization. Ms. Junglas traveled across the U.S. while working for Neighborhood Reinvestment to provide technical assistance to nonprofit groups involved in neighborhood revitalization.  While at Neighborhood Progress, Inc. (NPI), a Cleveland-based local intermediary that provides technical assistance and grant funding to a network of 26 CDCs, Ms. Junglas coordinated an Asset and Property Management program and also assisted in the development of performance standards for the Cleveland CDCs.  She recently has taught “Introduction to Asset Management” offered by the Ohio CDC Association. She counts among her clients LISC, NPI, CHAM and Ohio CDC Association.
