Nonprofit Financial Literacy

This workshop increases the comfort level of nonprofit managers and board members in reading and interpreting nonprofit financial statements. Using examples of actual nonprofits, we will review the statements of activities and financial position and explore how these statements can be used together to inform strategic planning. Workshop participants will:

  • Review the fundamental concepts and structure of nonprofit financial statements
  • Discuss techniques for interpreting this data and incorporating it into decision making
  • Explore how to set goals that help maintain the financial health of their organizations

Facility Projects: Planning, Funding and Financing Strategies

This workshop demystifies the various fundraising and financing strategies available to pay for a facility project. Study the impact acquisition and/or renovation can have on your organization's mission, programs, structure, operations, fundraising and financial health.

Getting to Know Vineland Consulting Group

In this session, Vineland Consulting Group staff will provide an introduction to our mission and nonprofit financial services that aim to help nonprofit organizations improve their capacity to serve their communities.

Financial Leadership Clinic

Financial Leadership Clinic combines an educational seminar on nonprofit finance with individual coaching and peer-based learning. In the two-day Clinic, four to six small-to-midsized nonprofits working in a common sector learn to read and interpret their financial documents, understand the dynamics of their business models, and identify and communicate the specific financial needs and goals of their organizations.
