The Ohio CDC Association welcomes current, good-standing members to submit an application to become a sub-site to begin Summer 2026.
Funding, which has yet to be secured, for the OCDCA AmeriCorps VISTA Program is provided by AmeriCorps, the Ohio Department of Development (ODOD) through the Ohio Housing Trust Fund (OHTF). Limited slots are available; therefore, this is a competitive process and we will reserve some slots for housing-only initiatives. Sub-site sponsors will be responsible for meeting quarterly reporting requirements and completing monthly timesheets.
Sites that currently have an AmeriCorps VISTA placement must apply for a continuation of funding. Additionally, sites that were awarded a placement in the 2024 cycle but were unable to recruit can apply again with an updated VAD and will be prioritized for consideration.
