Voting Membership

Voting Members must meet four criteria:

1. The organization must be incorporated in the State of Ohio.
2. The organization must be organized and operated as a nonprofit organization.
3. The organization must include low- and moderate-income residents or representatives of the organization’s target neighborhood or community on its Board of Directors.
4. The principal aim of the organization must be the economic, physical, or social revitalization and/or stabilization of a community.

If you've determined you are a voting member, select one of the membership levels based on the portion of your operating budget dedicated to development, which is defined as real estate, economic, business and asset development activities.

• Level V1 $250 – under $50,000
• Level V2 $300 – between $50,001 and $100,000
• Level V3 $400 – between $100,001 and $300,000
• Level V4 $500 – between $300,001 and $400,000
• Level V5 $650 – over $400,001

Non-Voting Membership

​Any individual or organization, which supports the goal of community-based development may apply to be recognized by the Voting Members of the Association as an Associate Member. Associate Members may attend and participate in association meetings but shall not have voting rights.

If you've determined you are an associate member, please select your membership level based on the information below:

• Level N1 $225 – Individual Associates
• Level N2 $300 – Nonprofit Partners (who do not qualify for voting membership)
• Level N3 $400 – Sustaining Members (Government, Universities, Non-Financial Institutions)
• Level N4 $500 – For-profit Developers, Builders, Consulting Firms & other businesses

For Nonprofit Financial Institutions or Intermediaries:​​

• Level F3 $550 – Nonprofit Financial Intermediaries (national, state & local)

Bank Membership (Non-Voting)

• Access to nonprofit community development insights: OCDCA staff will assist in convening members for listening sessions, community assessments, & more 

• Opportunity to share products and services: Member financial institutions can upload product information into our Member Portal to share with an audience of nonprofit community development professionals, including small business advisors, housing counselors, and nonprofit developers 

• Have your organization, project or event featured in OCDCA's newsletters and/or social media. Contingent on whether you share these with our Comms and Policy Associate 

• Discount event passes to our Annual Conference 

• Opportunity to sit on an OCDCA Board Committee 

• Stay in the loop with Community Development news, priorities, and needs ​

Levels:

• Level F1 $750 – Small Financial Institutions (total assets less than $1 billion) View our Level F1 benefits.
• Level F2 $1000 – Large Financial Institutions (total assets more than $1 billion) View our Level F2 benefits.​​
