Julia Robinson Julia Robinson joined OCDCA as the Member Capacity Manager in June of 2023. With deep passion for creating sustainable and accessible programming and operating systems, Julia has successfully applied her skills to program-based initiatives in California, Montana, Ohio, and Mumbai, India. Julia received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and minor in Art History from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). There and after, she's traveled to 25 countries to practice and witness alternative collaboration, organizing, and coping methods, not only within the academic and political world, but within local communities. Manager of Economic Initiatives
Joy Kostansek Prior to working at OCDCA, Joy Kostansek was the Associate Director of the Dean of Students Office at the University of Cincinnati. Joy oversaw basic needs programming, primarily running a campus food pantry, conducting case management and directing other support services. Her background is largely connected to the food system, having worked in sustainable agriculture, small business development through procurement, and addressing food insecurity in communities. Joy obtained her Bachelors and Master's degrees in Sociology from Ohio University where her research focused on institutional procurement policy. She completed her Masters of Public Administration from the University of Cincinnati in April 2024 where her capstone project was an equity audit of a community food market in Oregon. Communications and Policy Associate
Arabella Zambito Arabella Zambito is OCDCA’s Communications and Policy Associate. Before joining the OCDCA team in April 2024, Arabella interned for the Public Policy Team at the Ohio Alliance to End Sexual Violence. There, she synthesized research, analyzed legislation, and communicated complex social issues to a variety of audiences. Through her experience, she grew a passion for community advocacy and improving the lives of others and is committed to upholding these values through her role. Arabella received her Bachelor of Arts in both Criminology and Political Science with a minor in Psychology from West Virginia University where her main research focus was on violence against women and transportation policy. Arabella also shares an interest in women and gender studies, climate and sustainability, and finding ways to guarantee the security of all people.
